In common with quite a few cyclists I set my alarm clock early so I can do few laps of Regent's Park Outer Circle while it is closed to through traffic (Midnight to 7 am).

However the gates are increasingly opened earlier and earlier. This morning it was 6:30 am.

I've written to the Royal Parks who have helpfully said this shouldn't be happening and have passed my enquiry to the Crown Estates Paving Commission who manage the gates.

Who in their turn have unhelpfully said they only have one operative to open the gates and basically 'tough'.

I asked them if they could at least open the northern gates last but they haven't replied.

Any suggestions how this can be moved forward?
