Not an issue but good news I thought worth sharing here. I regularly use the Gala/Walkergate cycle racks outside Clayport Library. Today I was confused, they had been replaced with a slightly different style and moved closer to the wall. The concrete looked wet/new but they are firmly in place, perhaps that's why they were empty but a bicycle was locked to a nearby lamp post.
An old gentleman walked by and commented it was a better place for them. I thought he referred to being out of the way, but he said the seat won't get wet (if I had parked my bike facing the other way!).
I have updated the cycle capacity on OpenStreetMap, there are almost double the number of racks as before!!! I don't know what happened to the old style racks, hopefully they are being installed somewhere new. I might ask.

Cycle parking at Teddington station can only be accessed by bridge from the Bushy Park side. The absence of a gutter on the bridge makes access very difficult, because the bike needs to be lifted all the way.

Another student housing conversion with inadequate provision for bicycles and possibly excessive provision for cars.
Application states 8 cycle spaces, 8 car spaces and 1 disabled parking space. Total 33 student bedrooms. To go with BREEAM this would suggest 17 cycle spaces would be preferable for residents, plus visitor spaces. The cycle spaces pictured are old-fashioned -- I doubt they would actually provide that kind of rack -- but partially covered. It is unclear whether these would be in a secure area or not. They are round the back of the building.

This school is near a cycle track but has no cycle parking, according to http://eplanning.norfolk.gov.uk/PlanAppDisp.aspx?AppNo=Y/2/2013/2018 - A site visit to confirm that would be good, if anyone has time.

I have yet to find a NHS site in West Norfolk with cycle parking that is up to standard. Common defects include it being shoved on the far edge of the car park or behind a building, or being inaccessible by bicycle. This might be resolved by the planning process or by the site operators.

We need more good cycle parking in the town centre, both resident and visitor parking. This may be achieved through planning applications or otherwise.

At the end of Adelaide Rd is a large GP Practice and a dentist. There is no space immediately here but there is space on the opposite side of Park Rd. accessed by a zebra.

There are currently around 6 or 8 cages for cycle parking. One bike per cage. While this is great for anyone lucky manages to find an unused cage, often they're all used. Some additional Sheffield type stands required.

There's a plan to redesign this street which has quite a bit of covered cycle parking at the moment, but no cycle parking is shown on the proposed layout.
An analysis appears at http://blog.jofftastic.co.uk/2013/12/peterborough-city-council-anti-cycling/

This is Norfolk county matters application http://eplanning.norfolk.gov.uk/PlanAppDisp.aspx?AppNo=Y/2/2013/2013 due to be heard in a meeting starting Fri 6 Dec 2013 10am at County Hall, Norwich. 7 cycle parking spaces were proposed. I objected for KLWNBUG on the grounds that 26 should be provided. Norfolk County Council Highways suggested 14 spaces and a Standard Highway Condition (27 I think) which would leave it to the Borough Council to enforce, who don't have a great track record on that in my experience. The Borough Green Infrastructure Officer didn't comment on cycle parking. Norfolk Police seem OK with the final revision. NCC planning officer suggested that if the 14 are used then it could be expanded without further application and confirmed that as a county development, there's no scope for section 106 funds for building cycle tracks to neighbouring villages.

Looks like they've just improved the cycle parking at Waterbeach railway station, doubling it to 24 bicycles.

We need some cycle racks outside the Asda store here. I've asked Asda but they say it's up to the Council.

There is room for more bike parking here - to encourage people to stop fly parking on the railings of the bridge.

Thought it might be useful to have some (covered) cycle parking near the Ham-Twickenham ferry. Although you can take bikes on the ferry; this would give people an option of leaving their bikes on the south side whilst visiting the twickenham side - which might be good for people less physically able to lug bikes on and off the boat and the steps.

There is inadequate cycle parking at the leisure centre with a handful of Sheffield stands and lots of 'wheel benders'.

The demand for cycle parking exceeds the supply in this important shopping area.

This new development is almost finished, but there is no obvious sign of cycle parking on the frontage - which I believe may be for shops - yet (and the back area is obviously not publicly accessible at the moment).
Do we know what cycle parking is planned here?

There isn't any cycle parking outside this excellent charity centre. A small row of sheffield stands outside the building would be very useful.

There's plenty of shops on White Hart Lane but the only bike parking is right at the northern end. There is room for more bike stands near the shops at the southern end opposite Westfields Avenue.

More cycle parking capacity is required in Sheen. This would be a good location for more capacity.
