Nottingham City Council is now consulting on plans for the proposed Southern Cycling Corridor, improving routes between the City Centre and Clifton via Wilford Bridge, and including routes to and from the Clifton campus of Nottingham Trent University, and extensions of the tramside path between Compton Acres and Clifton to Farnborough Road, etc.

15/1227/FUL | Erection of a new 18,000sqm research laboratory building (Use Class B1 (b)) and associated works. | Puddicombe Way Cambridge
Site Plan shows "Cycle Storage" adjacent to the hotel? site to the east.
Red line extending to Robinson Way (north of Francis Crick roundabout), Puddicombe Way and including half the Forum area suggests intention to secure good transport links.
Essential to remedy poor walking/cycling layout at foot of busway/cycleway bridge, and secure easy access to (across?) the bus/cycleway's extension to The Forum, where the intention may be to continue cycleway on southern side only of busway.

Hi everyone
I'm looking on cycling round the east anglian coastline with a group of scouts this summer.
Has anyone done this & could give hints or suggestions to the routes?
Sustrans maps show plenty of quiet road type routes, but I'm thinking they are not well signposted.
the NCR01 route cuts through Norwich rather than round the coast, but I guess may well be better signposted?
Can anyone help me out with thinking about a route please?
Thanks
Richard (Cambridge area)

Downham Market has National Route 11 running through it roughly north-south but doesn't have much of a signposted cycle network otherwise. There are some useful cut-throughs so this looks like it could be an ideal market town for cycling with relatively little work.

There are no cycle route signs at the junction of North Holmes Road with Havelock Street in Canterbury despite two advisory on-road cycle routes meeting at this point. Cycle route signs should be installed to allow people to more easily follow and discover Canterbury's cycle network.
