Towards the west end of Love Lane, vegetation overhanging from the south does not allow an adult to pass (on foot or cycle) without bending. (Photo is looking west.)
Noticed on 13 July, confirmed still there 20 July.
Reported to Cambridgeshire County Council 19 July (ref 00438005). They closed the report 24 July, saying "The issue you raised with us is the responsibility of the landowner. Unfortunately we do not have records of who is responsible for this location and we are therefore unable to take any action."
(This area has been problematic previously -- see KW's reporting in March 2023 on the 'exclusionary barriers' thread. Not sure if exactly the same vegetation, but same general area.)

The bushes/trees are pretty overgrown into the left side of the cycle path, meaning you have to move away from the edge at points, on an already narrow cycle track (fairly narrow for bidirectional travel, anyway).

Grange Road has extremely narrow cycle lanes for most of its length, which include traffic calming bollards forcing traffic down to a single lane. While this design does slow traffic, the narrow space for the cycle lane means that trikes have to slow almost to a stop to pass safely -- or in some cases may not fit at all. This forces trikes out into the single centre lane, where cars may not properly give way, and also are the sites of speed bumps and significant potholes. If the lanes were about 20-30cm wider, then trikes could pass without a problem. This issue affects all of the bollards on both sides of Grange Road for its full length, but I’ve highlighted a particularly problematic one since I had to pick a spot.
(In general, the cycle lanes on Grange Road are too narrow for cargo trikes forcing them out into traffic lanes anyway, but it’s the brick bases to the bollards that cause a particular problem.)

Bollards close Storeys Way to through traffic while allowing cycles through. However, the bollard spacing makes it difficult to get cargo trikes through -- e.g., Nohila and Winther products.

The new wands on East road force cyclists on to the pavement, rather than the roundabout, where East road meets Newmarket roundabout. Why should cyclists be blocked from using Newmarket roundabout, which is the easiest way to access the bus lane on Elizabeth Way bridge.
Pulling out of the wands early is dangerous and annoying. more annoying is when you forget and have to stop, or go onto the pavement and round to use the ramp.

The City Council is about to install a gate on Thursday 26th November 2015 which will basically block the access to the Beehive Centre, forcing cyclists onto a narrow pavement gap.
The city council has written to residents living nearby to inform them of this; there has been no consultation or, as far as I'm aware, consultation with any organisation.
The reason is to stop commuter parking on what is termed a 'private road' round the back of the houses; I am not convinced it is a private road. However, this is particularly galling since the same Councillor Blencowe mentioned in the letter also wrote to residents to state that they are not proceeding with a residents' parking zone, i.e. that commuter parking will continue to be permitted.

Where the path splits there is a marker post that is completely invisible at night. It should be fitted with reflective material or removed.

The path / cut-through between Ditton Meadows and Ditton Walk (next to Ronald Rolph Court) is currently blocked by a fallen tree.
It's possible to squeeze under it with a standard bicycle if you're agile.
Looks like someone attempted to block the path with red/white tape at the southern entrance, but it's all come down of course. I didn't see any warning at the northern entrance.
There's a report on the County Council site (387287), but it's marked as 'closed' on the 21st Feb. Tree was still there on 22nd.

This is a junction of a suburban road and a gravelled shared pedestrian/cycle route through Fish Pond Woods. Unfortunately, the dropped kerb to turn from the road onto the path does not line up with the path and there are no double yellow lines to prevent people from parking immediately blocking the path. Once on the path, the path is too narrow and poorly gravelled that it is difficult to try to stop or swerve if meeting a pedestrian or oncoming cyclist.

This is probably an old issue, but I only discovered this cycleway on Sunday. I very nearly had a bad accident cycling through the pinch point (pram arms) at the Dry Drayton end of the Bar Hill Cycleway. There are many photos on Cycle Street's photomap (e.g. 26327) that illustrate the invisibility in the shade of the metal arms. No signage or reflective tape to warn of the hazard. For me, this is MUCH more dangerous than the A14 bridges. (I have signed the petition and attended the Highways meeting.) Similar obstruction towards Bar Hill too, but by then I knew to walk the bike through!

Thanks to planning hiccups in the 90s and 00s, there is a missing section of the path between Rouse Way and Meander Mews that prevents it from being used as an alternative for walkers and cyclists to Cowdray Avenue, or as part of leisure routes, e.g. a riverside loop.

The section of Leytonstone Road E15 between number 165 and Cherry Tree Road had a single yellow line waiting restrictions, loading restriction kerb markings and bollards until 2017-18 when the road was resurfaced. A new advisory cycle lane was introduced, but the yellow lines and kerb markings were not reinstated, although I can find no evidence that the traffic order has been revoked. Footway parking has since become a serious problem here, both narrowing the available width of the footway and obstructing the cycle lane. The single yellow line and kerb markings need to be reinstated. As CEOs seem unable to enforce the footway parking, consideration should also be given to converting the cycle lane to a mandatory lane, which would enable CCTV to be used to issue PCNs by post from 22 June 2020 (there is a Newham CCTV camera at the corner of Leytonstone Road and Gurney Road).

This developer [1] has put up this barrier in a shared use path important to local cyclists (c.f. the Campaign's original objections), apparently following complaints that the path was being used as a “cut through” by motor cyclists.
Clearly, this constitutes a real problem for cyclists and wheelchair users.

Bus gate at Clay Farm Centre is marked with a "no entry except buses" sign - this route it used by many bikes, and should probably be changed. I'd rather not go through no-entry signs, but I do at the moment as it's the only sensible route by bike from Trumpington Park Primary to Lime Avenue.

A new set of barriers has appeared on the hospital side of the usway bridge at Addenbrookes.
Creates the usual set of problems for cargo bikes and less confident bike users, with the added bonus of being on a steep hill that ices up regularly, and right next to a busway with a record of squishing people who fall onto it.

Extra blue and black bins have been put along Gonville Place, near where the cyclist counter used to be. They narrow the cycle lane in real, and effectively. Their location generally is poorly thought through (if at all). They are clearly intended for visitors to the winter fun fair on Prkers Piece, who will be on foot, but to use the bins they need to cross the cycle lane.
